Corporate Services Manager
Summary    
 
Manage the corporate services department which includes: forms control, mail services, facilities, audio/visual, office supplies and related personnel management.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
 
Recruiting Requirements –
·         Past experience in supervising 15+ employees
·         Must possess excellent organizational skills. 
·         Excellent customer service and written/oral communication skills necessary. 
·         Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet desired. 
·         Ability to simultaneously manage multiple operations and projects in a fast-paced, changing environment.
 
Facility Maintenance (on call 24 hours)
 
·         Heat/AC, plumbing, lighting
·         Maintenance, cleaning service
·         Kitchen/lunchroom areas, appliances, vending company
·         Key security (desks, doors, etc).
·         Maintenance contracts for Corporate Services equipment
·         Furniture; purchasing, installation, moving, inventory, etc.
·         Company photocopiers (maintenance, inventory, purchasing, etc.)
·         Vendor evaluation and selection for related contracts
·         Building Relations
·         Construction oversight
·         Audio/Visual support and maintenance of equipment
·         Company shredding
 
 
Mail Room
 
·         Inbound/outbound mail processing
·         Office supplies; inventory, ordering, stocking, requistioning
·         Company vehicle (maintenance)
 
Manages department (team leaders/clerks)
 
·         Work flows (Mail/File)
·         Training
·         Personnel issues; discipline, performance appraisals
·         Project work
·         Assists department Director as necessary
 
Supervisory Responsibilities                                                 
 
Manages employees in the Corporate Services Department and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience                                                
 
Bachelor’s degree (B.A) from four –year college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
 
Language Skills                                 
 
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
 
 
Mathematical Skills                                                   
 
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
 
 
Reasoning Ability                                                      
 
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
